The ARR is the fundamental unit of exchange within the ARROUND platform, and all commercial activities, although they may be priced in fiat currency, will be conducted in ARR tokens.
ARR tokens are used by the platform’s users to purchase or lease digital items or services from connected developers and by commercial parties in order to run advertising and marketing campaigns. First of all, i have never heard about any of the people in the TEAM, this kind of projects is worth billions, and most of the members have no background or experience in such projects, we should see big names from that specific AR industry.
Having the company located in Belize is a big red flag, there will be many problems regarding international wire transfer, many countries blocked Belize as an offshore jurisdiction due to money laundering issues.
This project could have been registered in Europe and got the support of the governments and banks if there is really such partnerships as they claim on the site, i have been looking for information on the net to find any press releases or public information about the so claimed partnerships with Unilever and other companies they have posted on the site but cannot find any.
Also asking for 5 millions in the softcap, is really nothing , cannot even barely cover their exchange listings, and even 30 million hard cap is very very tiny in terms of this project needs. We are speaking about augmented reality, not about Paint program. You can look the information yourself, Magic leap with all these funding is still a startup company to generate a profit in the near future, this project big investors will never believe, very poorly presented financially, and even on the legal side, there are thousands of such companies, and mostly they fail. This project needs to raise at least 400 million usd to be able to thrive and sustain to deliver something.
We need links to partnerships, official news, not only claims on the site.
I dunno how all these experts here have rated the project, but it is very suspicious rating what i see, even most of them did not leave a word in comments.
Also they do not talk in numbers about how they will use the funds, for example how much is for the listing on exchanges, specially it costs millions to be on Binance, Hitbtc and others. plus the amount raised must be categorized, and the exact amounts must be mentioned on where it will be used, the way this structured will never trigger the attention of any big VC or Large scale investors, specially this being presented as a huge AR project, that needs only 30 millions, so funny really.
You need to do a better homework guys next time.
Firstly, we are not inventing Augmented Reality! We are entirely different from Magic Leap (a company that is developing its own hardware, operating system and applications). Instead, we are building on technology that is already here, and it’s built into your current iOS or Android phone. ARKit (Apple) and ARCore (Android) provide off-the-shelf functionality for AR developers. In terms of our own technology, we have developed a novel method of making these two technologies work together. Magic Leap, is building its own hardware, which is an entirely different proposition from our own.
The team behind ARROUND is very strong. They have delivered everything that has been asked of them and have the correct backgrounds and skills to implement the project. As for myself, I’ve spent my whole career building and launching large-scale social, media and financial applications. The fact that this project uses AR is interesting, but it doesn’t change any of the dynamics of developing and launching the business.
The softcap is appropriate to get the project up and running. ARROUND is a purposefully lean startup. At the risk of repetition, ARROUND is not Magic Leap, we are not redesigning AR from scratch, we don’t need a factory building hardware. ARROUND is creating something of value through the imaginative exploitation of existing components. Even the AR Map will be based on currently available SLAM algorithms overlaid with existing navigation APIs and out-of-the-box object recognition that you can find in Apple’s standard ARKit documentation. We are putting existing technology to use in a practical way. I think that this is our major advantage over previous AR startups.
ARROUND has commercial partnerships with Unilever, Scania, Campari and others, which means that these companies have put their trust in us at this early stage to deliver campaigns for some of their leading products.
The ICO is located in Belize. The operations will move to Europe once the company is established. So far, there have been no issues surrounding accepting contributions. When we initially planned the ICO, other jurisdictions were less ICO friendly. Now, they are opening up a little which is a good thing.
We don’t intend to waste millions on a premium listing. We are speaking to Top-20 exchanges that want us on board and where we will be welcomed for little to no upfront cost.

Nice team and project, that makes the sopping experience a lot easier, combined with the AR market, which has a great potential and represent the future. Though the CEO is not very experienced, the organisation is good and the MVP is ready. One little thing is that the hard capo is a little too high and the cap gap is a bit too sensible, it might be hard to et adoption compared to the competitors.

We’re developing a crowdsourced map, an advertising network, an AR store and a social network as part of the platform…together its an ecosystem/incubator for AR ready applications (both on iOS and Android) offering them a way to monetize through AR advertising. These elements all intrinsically connect to each other, and because each one has it’s own associated transactions, it makes sense to build a core using blockchain.
As we’re bringing in so many disparate sources: developers, app users, advertisers, retailers, brands, organizations, we think blockchain is perfect for tracking ad inventory, proving/certifying ad views, warranting intellectual property rights and guaranteeing privacy rights etc. Also, we can use tokens to motivate the userbase to build the 3D map.
The commercial organizations we’ve spoken to so far love the idea of blockchain on an ad network as it provides complete transparency in their ad purchases.
As for carrying out all transactions in fiat? Sure it’s possible, but it’s just not optimal as there will be multiple currencies, exchange rates, issues around micro-transactions and credit card processing…The ARR not only simplifies this, but it gives us more scope for marketing and growing the network.
