A new version of a DAO which they are calling an xDAC built on EOS. Not sure if proof of work is right terminology as it leads to confusion . I believe they are using a Delegated proof of stake will be interested to see how this all plays out !

xDAC (Decentralized Autonomous Company) is built on top of EOS and it is focused on creating a comprehensive framework for everyone in the crypto space, ranging from entrepreneurs to investors.
The xDAC team has been extensively involved in dapp development over the past years and I feel that the team has been put well together, meaning they have the expertise needed for the project to succeed.
The team is planning on releasing an alpha release in November 2018 and a beta release in January 2019. In 2019 they are also planning on expanding their efforts to marketing, development and building strategic partnerships. I haven't heard much yet about the project and team so I would definitely suggest to take on marketing earlier.
Interesting idea, would like to see how it plays out!

Cool idea and team.
Nevertheless, solutions for decentralized organizations and communities are on demand for future market. Hope, this will be one of really huge postindustrial business direction coming years.
Just can give two suggestions
1) expand development staff
2) invite advisros related to the development or testing of EOS
3) Providing accurate document with tech information

Great idea by someone who obviously knows what they are doing. Two problems: SEC and a very very long way to the product, not to mention enough traction to finance the project from operations. Therefore, very risky project.
UPD: Thanks to Oscar for commenting. SEC is tough on US based ICOs and those attracting US citizens, which is why most of the action happens in the rest of the world. For that reason and for the product complexity, you would be much better served by raising funds for a year of operations privately and then rolling it out publicly. ICO market is currently pretty bad, anyway. Again, great vision and hope you succeed.
UPD: had a discussion with the team, and one of the concerns I had was addressed.
UPD2: I looked at the project again after 5 months, lots of visible progress.

Talented technical team with an interesting angle on top of EOS.
Excited to see more around the PoW mechanism.
Suggest expanding advisors and partner strategy.

A very technically capable team, but lacks that slight edge to compete in the global scale.
Very good concept and vision.
Will have to wait and see how the alpha version turns out but looks promising.
