$qONE serves multiple functions within the qLABS ecosystem. The token acts as a hedge against Q-Day when quantum computers become powerful enough to break current encryption. It also serves as the payment method for quantum protection features. Users pay $qONE to enable Quantum Factor Authentication and for dual-signature transaction verification.
Business clients pay bulk transaction fees in $qONE to cover quantum-resistant verification at scale. Protocol access requires staking a specific amount of $qONE. Token holders vote on protocol upgrades, fee structure changes, and security improvements through governance rights.
The token distribution aims for steady growth over time. Total supply sits at 1 billion tokens split among different groups. The three token sales take up 13% combined.
