ChatGPT Predicts Price of Ethereum, NEAR Protocol, DoubleZero by End of 2026

This week has brought fresh volatility to crypto markets, driven largely by geopolitical developments. Statements from U.S. leadership regarding Iran raised concerns over risk assets and contributed to upward pressure on oil prices, prompting traders to reduce exposure in leveraged positions, and significant liquidations followed as participants adjusted to the shifting environment.

As market volatility continues, AI tools such as ChatGPT have become especially valuable for traders and investors, as they help cut through the constant flow of global headlines, quickly synthesize developments across multiple sources, and surface relevant patterns in on-chain data or community sentiment. By turning overwhelming information into clear insights, these tools support more measured responses when markets swing and new opportunities emerge.

For this article, we summoned ChatGPT’s latest model and asked it to predict the prices of Ethereum, NEAR Protocol, and DoubleZero for the end of 2026. Next, we added Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) to the mix to see how the AI would handle a new presale project that’s due to end its sale campaign soon, and has already raised over $32.7 million. ChatGPT analyzed all of the above projects effectively, and set out some intriguingly bullish forecasts with realistic fundamental support.

Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum is structurally positioned for a sustained move higher because its demand drivers are finally aligning at the same time,” ChatGPT stated. “The shift to proof-of-stake has transformed ETH into a yield-bearing asset, attracting long-term capital that would otherwise sit in traditional income instruments. At the same time, staking continues to lock up a significant portion of supply, while EIP-1559 burns fees during periods of high network activity – creating a persistent supply squeeze. When you combine reduced circulating supply with rising demand from DeFi, tokenization, and institutional use cases, the setup becomes mechanically bullish.”

On the demand side, ChatGPT noted that “Ethereum remains the default settlement layer for the most valuable segments of crypto: stablecoins, DeFi protocols, and real-world asset tokenization. Layer 2 scaling has removed the biggest historical constraint (high fees), unlocking user growth without diluting Ethereum’s value capture. Capital rotation is also key: when Bitcoin stabilizes after strong moves, liquidity consistently flows into ETH as the next large-cap trade.”

“This cyclical pattern, combined with structurally lower sell pressure from stakers, supports a clean move toward the $4,000 level as a base-case expansion rather than an extreme scenario.”

NEAR Protocol (NEAR)

In ChatGPT’s view, “NEAR Protocol is setting up for a controlled but meaningful upside move because it sits at the intersection of two strong narratives: scalable infrastructure and AI-integrated blockchain applications. Its Nightshade sharding architecture allows NEAR to scale efficiently without compromising usability, which keeps transaction costs low and predictable – an essential requirement for real-world adoption. At the same time, NEAR has been aggressively positioning itself as a hub for AI-driven applications and user-owned data, which is attracting developer interest in a market increasingly driven by narrative momentum.”

“The ecosystem is also strengthening,” ChatGPT explained, because “Aurora (its EVM-compatible layer) makes it easier for Ethereum developers to deploy on NEAR, while chain abstraction initiatives reduce friction for users interacting across multiple networks. This combination (developer accessibility, improved UX, and strong narrative alignment) creates a steady demand base rather than a purely speculative spike. As liquidity rotates into mid-cap Layer 1s after majors like Bitcoin and Ethereum establish their trends, NEAR is well-positioned to benefit, making a move toward $3.40 a realistic continuation.”

DoubleZero (2Z)

DoubleZero stands out because it’s tackling a part of the stack most investors ignore – network performance,” ChatGPT said. “Instead of competing directly with Layer 1s on execution or scaling, DoubleZero focuses on accelerating how data moves between nodes, validators, and users. That might sound niche, but it’s critical: as blockchains scale and throughput increases, latency and bandwidth become bottlenecks. If DoubleZero becomes even a partial standard for improving network efficiency, it inserts itself into multiple ecosystems at once rather than relying on a single chain’s success.”

Furthermore, “what makes the setup compelling is asymmetry,” according to ChatGPT. “At a low valuation, the market isn’t pricing in widespread adoption of a ‘bandwidth layer’ yet – but the demand for faster, more reliable infrastructure is already rising with institutional participation, high-frequency trading strategies, and real-time on-chain applications. If DoubleZero secures integrations or partnerships with major networks, its utility (and therefore token demand) scales non-linearly. That’s how you get a relatively clean path to $0.30: not from hype alone, but from becoming a behind-the-scenes enabler that compounds in value as the broader crypto ecosystem grows.”

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER)

While considering the presale token we asked it to analyze, ChatGPT began by explaining that “Bitcoin Hyper is built around a simple but powerful premise: unlock Bitcoin’s full utility by dramatically improving its speed, scalability, and usability. The project positions itself as a high-performance layer built around the Bitcoin ecosystem, aiming to enable near-instant transactions and broader application support without sacrificing Bitcoin’s core security narrative.”

“That’s a compelling angle because Bitcoin itself remains the most trusted asset in crypto – but is still limited in functionality. Any credible extension of Bitcoin’s capabilities taps directly into the largest pool of capital in the market.”

Looking beyond HYPER’s Q3 token and mainnet launches, ChatGPT stated that “the bullish case for a 30x move comes down to narrative alignment and timing. Markets rotate aggressively into projects that extend Bitcoin during bullish cycles – especially those promising speed and real-world usability. If Bitcoin Hyper successfully captures attention as a ‘next evolution’ layer tied to Bitcoin, it benefits from both brand association and speculative inflows.”

“With a low starting valuation typical of presales (priced at $0.0136804 with staking APYs of up to 36%), HYPER doesn’t need full adoption to deliver outsized returns – just enough traction, exchange listings, and early ecosystem development to trigger momentum. In strong market conditions, that combination is exactly what drives exponential repricing.”
