Institutional demand has continued to boost listed Bitcoin and Ethereum funds this week, and the bullish mood is changing how investors look at the rest of the market. US spot BTC products posted their largest single-day inflow since January on Thursday, while August proved to be their strongest month of 2026 so far, and ETH funds have kept taking in new money as well. Analysts have tied part of that rebound to a more supportive interest rate outlook after recent comments from Federal Reserve governor Christopher Waller.
The same week has also pushed Bitcoin toward a third straight weekly gain, as the debasement trade has drawn capital back into digital assets.
That combination has put the search for the best altcoins back at the center of traders’ attention, and crypto presales have continued to attract buyers who want exposure before tokens reach major exchanges. Privacy coins, cross-chain networks, and Bitcoin Layer 2 projects have drawn particular interest this week. Zcash (ZEC) has moved higher as shielded payments return to the conversation, while LiquidChain (LIQUID) and Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) have been raising money through their live presales – and those three names are now the best altcoins to buy as ETF inflows rebuild confidence across the sector.
Zcash (ZEC)
Zcash (ZEC) is a privacy-focused digital currency that lets users choose between transparent payments and shielded transfers. Shielded activity uses zero-knowledge proofs so a transaction can be verified without revealing the sender, recipient, or amount. That design has been the project’s core product since launch, and it still sets ZEC apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum, which publish address and balance data by default.
Fees on Zcash are typically a few cents, and the protocol runs with a hard cap of 21 million coins, of which about 16.85 million are already in circulation. Over the past year, the price of Zcash has multiplied many times from the lows of 2024 and 2025. Nasdaq-listed Cypherpunk Technologies, which holds more than 320,000 ZEC and is working toward 5% of supply, has added another source of demand beyond retail traders.

While BTC and ETH ETFs have begun to attract large sums again, privacy has become a fundamentally important theme for dedicated investors, and ZEC has the longest track record in that category. With a fixed supply, rising liquidity, and a product that institutions cannot access through a standard BTC fund, Zcash could easily hold its position in the top tier of the market for the rest of 2026.
LiquidChain (LIQUID)
LiquidChain (LIQUID) is building a soon-to-launch Layer 3 (L3) network that treats Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana as one market instead of three completely separate ones. Assets from those chains will be represented on the new L3 so applications can tap combined liquidity without wrapping tokens in the usual way. A high-performance virtual machine will handle execution, while cross-chain proofs check Bitcoin UTXOs, Ethereum states, and Solana accounts, so linked transactions can settle in one step.

The LIQUID token is the unit used for network participation, gas, staking, and access to Layer 3 features. Total supply is fixed at 11.8 billion tokens, with 35% set aside for development, 32.5% for LiquidLabs growth work, 15% for the AquaVault community and business programs, 10% for rewards, and 7.5% for listings.
The live presale is now in Stage 102, with LIQUID priced at $0.014952 per token. The campaign has raised about $960,400 toward a target just above $1.07 million. Buyers can stake from the point of purchase, and the current staking rate is listed at 1,187% APY.
That raise has continued while listed BTC and ETH products have taken in hundreds of millions of dollars, and a Layer 3 that joins the three largest crypto networks is a direct bet on the same institutional bid. As the LIQUID presale moves toward the $1 million mark and listings are prepared, LiquidChain is set to be one of the most closely watched new tokens of this cycle.
Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER)
Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) is a Layer 2 network built to give Bitcoin fast, low-cost transactions and room for smart contracts without moving activity off Bitcoin’s security model. Execution will run on the Solana Virtual Machine, so contracts and apps can settle quickly, while state is anchored back to Bitcoin. A canonical bridge will let users lock BTC on its Layer 1, mint an equivalent token on the new Layer 2, and later withdraw the native coins.
Fees on the L2 will be paid in HYPER. The token will also cover staking, governance, and access to network features.
Bitcoin Hyper is refining the developer experience with clearer documentation, familiar tooling, predictable APIs, and better feedback for builders.
The goal: make the network easier to understand, connect existing tools, and start building with less friction. 🔥⚡️

HYPER has a fixed supply of 21 billion tokens, a figure chosen to echo Bitcoin’s own 21 million cap. Allocations send 30% to development, 25% to the treasury, 20% to marketing, 15% to rewards, and 10% to listings. The live presale prices HYPER at $0.0136857; the campaign has raised about $33.10 million toward a target of $33.53 million; and staking is available to buyers at 35% APY.
Smart contract reviews have been completed, and work is continuing toward the L2’s mainnet deployment, bridge activation, and later exchange listings.
A $33 million raise is an impressive figure for a Bitcoin Layer 2 still in presale, and it has held up as spot Bitcoin ETFs have booked their biggest inflow day since January. If Bitcoin is going to be used for payments and on-chain apps as well as held in funds, a fast execution layer on top of it is the missing piece of the puzzle. Bitcoin Hyper now has the capital and the technical plan to deliver that layer, and the presale remains one of the strongest Bitcoin-related trades in the market.
