Bitcoin (BTC) move this week has shifted into a waiting game. After briefly pushing above $80,000 on Tuesday, BTC price has eased back into consolidation around $79,000, still its highest trading area since mid-May. At the same time, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have brought in more than $884 million so far this week, keeping the broader backdrop constructive as the market weighs whether Bitcoin can still reach, or break through, $83,000 by the end of September.

That setup is also sharpening interest in projects built around Bitcoin utility rather than price action alone. Among them is Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), a Layer 2 network that aims to settle to Bitcoin while processing activity on a faster execution layer. The project’s public presale has now raised more than $33 million and is moving closer to the $35 million mark.

BTC Price Range Tightens After $80,000 Rejection

Bitcoin did not keep $80,000 as support earlier this week, but the attempt still pushed the asset into its strongest price zone in roughly 100 days. BTC is now trading in a relatively narrow range between $77,600 and $79,800, a structure traders often watch closely because compressed price action can precede a more decisive directional move.

On a broader timeframe, Bitcoin remains up more than 13% on the week. Demand through BTC spot ETFs has also stayed firm, with monthly inflows reaching $3.27 billion so far. That marks the products’ strongest month since October 2025, suggesting institutional participation has remained intact despite the pullback from local highs.

The initial catalyst for last week’s rally was the US Treasury’s plan to expand buybacks of long-dated government bonds, a move that revived interest in scarce assets as a hedge against a softer dollar. With that theme now largely absorbed by the market, attention has turned to the Fed’s Jackson Hole symposium. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh is due to speak on Friday, and crypto traders are watching closely for policy signals that could influence Bitcoin’s next move.

Analyst Daan Crypto has pointed to Bitcoin’s weekly chart, identifying $60,000 as the level where bullish momentum took control and highlighting $83,000 as the key near-term upside target.

Why Bitcoin Infrastructure Is Back in Focus

As fresh capital returns to Bitcoin, the market is also revisiting a long-running issue: the base chain is reliable, but it is not always fast or cheap for regular transactional use. That limitation has kept attention on infrastructure projects that aim to expand what users can do with BTC without moving away from Bitcoin entirely.

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) is one of the projects making that case. It is building a Layer 2 that settles back to Bitcoin while using the Solana Virtual Machine for execution. Under its design, users send BTC to a canonical bridge address, then a relay program verifies Bitcoin block headers and transaction proofs before minting an equivalent balance on the Layer 2. Transactions are intended to finalize quickly, while batches are later compressed and committed back to Bitcoin with zero-knowledge proofs. Withdrawals follow the same process in reverse once the Layer 2 state has been proven.

For users, the proposition is straightforward: make Bitcoin usable in a faster application-style environment while still anchoring settlement to the main chain.

Bitcoin Hyper Presale Nears $35 Million

Bitcoin Hyper’s presale has now raised more than $33 million. The current presale price for HYPER is $0.0136853, putting the sale within sight of the $35 million milestone.

HYPER is positioned as the network’s native token for gas, staking, and governance. Total supply is capped at 21 billion, with allocations set at 30% for development, 25% for treasury, 20% for marketing, 15% for rewards, and 10% for listings.

The project says its Layer 2 mainnet remains scheduled to launch this quarter. Staking is already live, with a dynamic APY of up to 35%.

How to Access the HYPER Presale

Those looking to participate can visit the official Bitcoin Hyper website, connect a supported crypto wallet, select the amount of HYPER they want at the current presale price of $0.0136853, and confirm the purchase. Payment options include ETH, BNB, SOL, USDT, and USDC, while traditional bank cards are also accepted.

Users can also buy and stake in the same flow to access the advertised 35% APY immediately.

Mobile users can access the sale through the Best Wallet app, where HYPER is listed in the “Upcoming Tokens” section. Best Wallet is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play.

For updates, users can follow Bitcoin Hyper on X and join its official Telegram channel.
