The co-founder of the Ripple network, Chris Larsen, reportedly transferred $175 million worth of XRP to various exchanges since July 17 as the token once again surpassed the $3 level.
Blockchain investigator ZachXBT uncovered this large transfer and reported it via his social media account.
Since July 17, 2025 an address linked to Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen transferred out 50M XRP ($175M) to four addresses.

When large holders transfer their assets to exchanges, it typically indicates that selling pressure will increase as insiders are cashing out of their investments. This can be interpreted as a sign of a local top for the price action.
The latest spike in XRP has pushed it to the closest the token has been to its January 2018 all-time high in 7 years.
The XRP community is excited about the passing of the Genius Act in the United States as it could propel mainstream adoption and drive higher volumes toward the Ripple network via Ripple USD (RLUSD) โ the projectโs native stablecoin.
Since its launch in December last year, this stable asset has increased its market cap from $50 to $550 million. Multiple large centralized exchanges (CEXs) have already listed the token.
Ripple sees RLUSD as a key puzzle piece to become the preferred alternative for cross-border payments. Paired with the launch of USDC recently, the networkโs ecosystem may start to expand, especially now that the project has left behind its legal hurdles.
XRP Drops by 6% as the Latest Rally Takes a Breather
XRP has been dropping in the past 24 hours and has accumulated a 6% loss during this period. The token currently sits at $3.15 ahead of the beginning of the American session.
The $3 level has already acted as a cushion for the price action. This would be the key support to watch for the rest of the day as a drop below could mark the beginning of a more pronounced downtrend.
This latest pullback has not impacted the most promising crypto presales like Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) as the project is on track to raise $5 million.
