A meme coin inspired by Changpeng Zhao’s dog, Broccoli, has already surpassed the market cap of what was the most valuable asset in this category in the Binance Smart Chain.
The BSC-based token named BROCCOLI now has a market cap of $101 million according to data from CoinMarketCap. Meanwhile, the market value of Test (TST), a token created as a test by the Binance Team that went viral last week, currently stands at $94.5 million.

The founder of Binance used Broccoli’s X post as a social experiment to further understand how the process of creating and promoting meme coins worked. Shortly after asking the crypto community about their thoughts on meme coin minting and virality, he said that he would be sharing his dog photo.
Just a few hours later, he posted the first images of Broccoli but clarified that he would not create a meme coin himself. Instead, he promised to interact with some BNB-based tokens inspired by his dog.
