The August Bitcoin price prediction is getting investors buzzing. Bitcoin’s price has soared from below $80,000 to a new all-time high of $123,231, and now many analysts are coming up with bold predictions.

A veteran trader, Peter Brandt, has predicted that Bitcoin could reach a $125,000 to $150,000 level by August/September. The Bitcoin price has already reached near the first target of $125,000, and with strong momentum sustained, it could reach the final target in August.

In another Bitcoin price prediction by Wall Street bank Citigroup, using its crypto valuation models based on the current market, the bank stated that Bitcoin could be valued at $135,000 in its conservative scenario. However, the bullish scenario is the most likely case, where the bank expects Bitcoin to reach $199,000 by the end of the year.

The bank cites that the growing influence of spot Bitcoin ETFs could lead to higher prices in the coming months. Since their launch, Bitcoin US ETFs have seen an inflow of nearly $55 billion worth of BTC, driving significant buying power into the market.

Citi’s conservative approach predicts that Bitcoin ETFs could add another $15 billion this year, and for every $1 billion of ETF inflow, Bitcoin’s price could increase by roughly $3.7%. This means the additional ETF demand could push the Bitcoin price near the $200,000 mark.

As Bitcoin takes the center stage, institutional capital has already started to flow into the altcoin market. Ethereum has shown the highest relative strength, outperforming even Bitcoin. This makes the current situation an ideal time to hunt for the next altcoin that could deliver massive returns.

Bitcoin Price Consolidating Near $120,000, Testing Market Strength

After a slight pullback from the recent ATH, the Bitcoin price has been trading in the $117,000 to $120,000 range for the last two weeks. BTC has formed a classic pole and flag pattern, which is generally a bullish continuation pattern.

A breakout above the $120k resistance zone, supported by substantial volume, could initiate a new bull leg in Bitcoin. The short-term target levels derived from Fibonacci extension levels are at $140,000 and $155,000, while short-term support is expected around $115,000 and $112,000.

Technical analysis shows that BTC’s RSI is currently near 60 on the daily timeframe, which is close to the oversold zone, yet it shows strong momentum in the price.

Meanwhile, the MACD chart is still in a bearish zone with the short-term moving average trading above the long-term. If buyers can push the price above the local resistance, the technicals can turn aggressively bullish in short order.

Bitcoin Hyper Best Play On Rising Bitcoin Price Prediction

While the spotlight is on Bitcoin, the smart money is flowing into this innovative layer-2 protocol, Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER). Early investors of Bitcoin believe that this project is a similar opportunity and the best bet for 2025.

Instead of building something from zero and irrelevant, Bitcoin Hyper uses the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to capitalize on Bitcoin’s massive market. Due to technical difficulties like speed, cost, and scalability, Bitcoin hasn’t become a home for DeFi. But Bitcoin Hyper is addressing this with a real layer-2 infrastructure on the Bitcoin network.

The new Layer 2 uses Solana’s ultra-fast virtual machine (SVM) to bring Bitcoin into a high-speed ecosystem. It allows instant transfers, low fees, and supports meme coins, DeFi, and dApps.

With a massive price growth opportunity, Bitcoin Hyper provides a passive-income scheme to benefit its investors. Holders can stake the native token of Bitcoin Hyper, $HYPER, in a no-frills pool and earn rewards. Early participants could earn an annual percentage yield (APY) of over 300% without sacrificing upside gains.

The Bitcoin Hyper presale is live, and has already raised over $5.6 million with $HYPER available at a low price of $0.01245. Each new stage of the presale will see a slight price hike, encouraging early investments. Buyers can purchase via ETH, USDT, BNB, or credit card.
