Best Memecoins to Buy Now as Bitcoin Bulls Keep $100K in Sight

Cryptocurrencies are considered a high-risk asset class. Investing in them may result in the loss of part or all of your capital. The content on this website is intended solely for informational and educational use and should not be interpreted as financial or investment advice.

Bitcoin is struggling to make much progress today – but some of crypto’s biggest forecasters are still looking considerably higher.

BTC is trading at $78,689.07, almost flat over the past 24 hours. Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan nevertheless said over the weekend that Bitcoin can reclaim $100,000 before the end of 2026, while describing Bitwise’s much longer-term $1.3 million target for 2035 as relatively achievable.

He is far from alone – Standard Chartered’s Geoff Kendrick is sticking with a $100,000 year-end target, while Bernstein recently went further, putting Bitcoin at around $125,000 by December and $150,000 by mid-2027 in its base case.

Predictions are not guarantees, particularly in crypto – but three prominent forecasts keeping six-figure Bitcoin in sight tell us that plenty of bullish conviction remains beneath a relatively quiet market.

Bitcoin bulls are debating whether BTC can add another 27% to get back to three digits – and meme traders usually arrive looking for considerably more.

That puts the spotlight on some of the best memecoins to buy now, although the projects below also show how fuzzy the definition of a meme coin is becoming – loud branding gets attention, yet sometimes there is a real purpose underneath.

Maxi Doge (MAXI): Meme Culture With Something to Compete For

Maxi Doge (MAXI) is the purest meme coin on this list: a bodybuilding Doge built around leverage, gym culture, and the eternal pursuit of bigger gains.

The concept has already attracted $4.85 million before Maxi Doge has even reached an exchange, with MAXI currently priced at $0.00028.

There is a reason the branding clicks – gym disciples and traders both understand discipline, competition, and publicly displaying the results. Maxi Doge takes that crossover and builds its community around it rather than attaching another arbitrary costume to a Shiba Inu.

More importantly, holders are meant to have something to do after buying, with the project planning to host trading competitions, reward top performers, and pursue planned partnerships with futures platforms.

Social challenges add another way to keep that competitive identity alive – important because it may be easy to launch a meme coin, but building an audience and keeping them intrigued and engaged is the bigger challenge.

But MAXI seems to be succeeding – it’s a triumph of a raise for a meme coin before the full launch. Staking at 64% APY and audits from SolidProof and Coinsult complete the picture.

If Bitcoin does make another run toward six figures, history suggests traders will look further afield than BTC for something faster and louder. Maxi Doge already has nearly $5 million worth of believers waiting for exchange trading to begin.

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER): Meme-Friendly Branding, Serious Bitcoin Utility

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) looks at home in a colorful presale market, but underneath the branding is a Bitcoin Layer 2 designed for fast payments, trading, and decentralized finance.

HYPER has already raised $33 million, with tokens priced at $0.01368 – one of the biggest presales of the year.

The starting problem is straightforward: Bitcoin is excellent at securely moving scarce digital money, but its base network was never designed for the speed people expect from modern crypto.

Bitcoin Hyper adds a separate Layer 2 built using the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), the execution environment familiar to Solana developers.

In plain English, users can bring BTC into Bitcoin Hyper, use it quickly for payments or financial tools at Solana’s speed, and move value back toward Bitcoin when they are finished.

Developers get an environment suited to high-speed smart contracts, rather than being forced to route every interaction through Bitcoin itself.

HYPER itself covers network fees and also supports staking and governance, and Presale staking offers 35% APY. Coinsult and SpyWolf have audited their contracts, so perhaps we will see a launch soon.

Bitcoin reaching $100,000 would be another victory for the store-of-value narrative, and Bitcoin Hyper’s purpose is to revive another part of the original idea: actually using Bitcoin as money.

LiquidChain (LIQUID): Making Three Blockchains Feel Like One

LiquidChain (LIQUID) is even further from the traditional definition of a meme coin – its branding is built for the same fast-moving presale market, but LIQUID is fundamentally an infrastructure token.

The early project has raised $963,000, with LIQUID priced at $0.0149, and it centers on the fact that Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana have all survived and built substantial communities. But the inconvenience comes when somebody actually wants to use assets across all three.

So LIQUID’s Layer 3 provides a shared environment for coordinating that activity, using a cross-chain virtual machine and proof system that can operate across different networks.

About LiquidChain

The simple version is that users can access BTC, ETH, and SOL from one place instead of hopping between chains, bridges, wrapped assets, and separate apps.

Atomic execution also allows connected multichain actions to complete together rather than leaving a transaction half-finished, and developers can reach users across several major ecosystems by simply plugging into LIQUID instead of supporting three chains.

That is genuine utility hiding behind a fairly simple proposition: crypto should not become harder to use just because several blockchains have succeeded.

Memecoin Branding Doesn’t Have to Mean an Empty Token

The $100,000 Bitcoin forecasts from Bitwise and Standard Chartered – and Bernstein’s even higher $125,000 year-end call – keep the bullish case alive despite BTC hovering below $80,000 today.

If that optimism proves justified, traders will inevitably look beyond Bitcoin, and strong brands will often attract attention quickly.

MAXI heads straight for meme culture and gives its community competitions to participate in, while HYPER wraps serious Bitcoin scaling technology in retail-friendly branding. LIQUID uses the same presale energy to sell a much less glamorous but important infrastructure problem: making multichain crypto easier.

A meme can get people through the door, and a token’s purpose can make them stay for the party.
