William is an active cryptocurrency investor and blockchain enthusiast. His accolades, among others, include creating the Worlds first real estate crowdfunding app and being named one of the top crowdfunding campaigns raised during 2014, where he successfully raised an angel round of $2M at a $22M post money valuation in about two weeks.
William resides in NYC and Dubai. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Early in his professional career, he served as an executive intern to Mitt Romney at Bain Capital. Prior to founding iFunding, he was a principal at Rose Park Advisors, a hedge fund founded by Harvard Business School Clayton Christensen. While at Rose park he developed a deep understanding of the theory of disruptive innovation, a theory created by Christensen in his NYT best-selling book, The Innovator's Dilemma. Mr. Skelley is a crypto enthusiast and has also worked at General Electric, Olympus, Bain Capital and as an advisor to several start-ups.
