Dr. Howell is a forward-thinking professional with 30 years of executive leadership experience. He served as CEO of Executive Learning, a national consulting firm he helped initiate, grow and sell for multiples. He also served on the C Suite of two major hospitals as Chief of Quality and Organizational Development. He was responsible for strategic planning, clinical and administrative improvement, quality and safety, leadership academy development and customer experience. Dr. Howell holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee and did post-doctoral work in Organizational Development at Vanderbilt. He is the author of the recently released book: Healthcare is Killing US: The Power of Disruptive Innovation to Create a System That Cares More and Costs Less. His service on advisory boards includes The University of Texas, Arlington, College of Business Healthcare Masters Program; The University of Tennessee College of Education; The Disruption Lab, Inc.; Passport Communications and others. He has served as adjunct faculty at Tulane and the University of Tennessee. Dr. Howell is interested in all things relating to disruptive innovation.
