Salim runs Loyakk, Inc and is a frequent speaker on Blockchain and its impact on Enterprises. Salim has been instrumental in defining Loyakk’s Blockchain-anchored Business Value Web framework and the resulting solution portfolio. Melding the two distinct worlds of Blockchain and Enterprise Applications with focus on enabling new decentralized business models for Enterprises has been a crazy ride.
Salim's broader experience spans Blockchain (since 2015), Enterprise Applications (CRM, ERP), Big Data Platforms (SAP HANA), replication/backup and systems management applications. Before Loyakk, Salim was Group Vice President, Marketing at SAP and deep in the world of enterprise marketing and solutions with revenue KPIs of $1.2B. Salim also led Partnering efforts (across Services, Channel, OEM and Cloud) and was responsible for the creation of SAP's Digital Business.
Functional experience across SAP, Veritas, Tibco, Network Equipment Technologies and mobile startups (DoDots, FusionOne etc) has spanned Marketing, Product Management, Field Enablement and Partner Marketing while driving multi-route market coverage via Direct (Field Sales) to Tele to Enterprise App Store to Channel/OEM/Partners.
Salim has an MBA from The Kellogg School at Northwestern, and an MS in Computer Science.
