Since 2012, Marin is an EBRD Enterprise Growth Program Senior Industrial Advisor for several industries and ENACTUS (ex-SIFE) 2009-2010 National competition Judge (www.enactus.org).
In April 2013, Marin enters the short list of registered EBRD external Nominee Director to act on the board of investee companies. In October 2013, the IFC also registered Marin as a Nominee Director. As well in 2014, Marin became a Mentor with CEED (USAID).
Marin has been appointed as member of the board or director to several companies, notably: Director of Soleal Shpk, the Balkans armed wing of NCH Capital Inc., the New York based $3 billion+ Private Equity Fund (www.nchcapital.com); Director of the SEE Property Fund (www.seepropertyfund.com); Director of My Power Farm a Solar energy producer and Director of Belgravia Atherstone Indian Invest Property fund, as a result in 2007 Marin was registered with the Jersey Financial Services Commission in compliance with the Collective Investment Funds Jersey Law.
In 2006 and 2007, Marin was invited and attended the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. He was also guest speaker at MIPIM Cannes 2008, 2009, and REAL Vienna 2011. During MIPIM 2008 Marin delivered the first public presentation regarding investment opportunities in low cost residential development.
Marin has been interviewed by several leading newspapers including the Financial Times, Il Giornale Economico, Bellevue Magazin, Bilan Magazine and the Sunday Times. He has also appeared in several television programmes broadcasted in Europe including one of the Swiss National TV news.
Marin is also a contributing member of the Crypto Valley Association, an independent, government-supported organization located in the Swiss canton of Zug. CVA mission is to build the world’s leading ecosystem for blockchain and cryptographic technologies in Switzerland.
Finally, Marin has been working pro bono since 2006 with several NGO and Foundations' addressing economic challenges faced by young entrepreneurs in SEE. Including advising Yunus Social Business the entity co-founded by Nobel Prize winner Professor Muhammad Yunus, the pioneer of microfinance.
Marin, holds a Master's degree in Finance from Paris 2 Pantheon-Assas University.
