I was admitted to the Ticino (Switzerland) bar in 1999. I started to work for the Swiss Federal Gaming Commission and later on for the Swiss Federal Banking Commission in Bern. Subsequently, I completed a LL.M. degree in international business law at the University of Zurich in 2006. From 2007 I worked as Partner in at KPMG for 10 years. Since 2018 I am leading the Financial Services and Digital Market Team at Kellerhals Carrard Lugano, being in the same time the CEO of the Poseidon Group.
My key areas of experience are technology, regulatory and tax laws. He advise corporate clients in the application of new technologies like blockchain, as well as in the compliance in financial laws. In particular I am a specialist in anti-money laundering legislation applied to new technology, I have was active in the establishing of different crypto exchangers in Switzerland and other crypto financial products. Further, I have extensive knowledge and experience in the tax field, especially automatic exchange of information and FATCA.
I have issued numerous publications, among other concerning the consolidate supervision of financial groups, and the comments of the financial services laws and the automatic exchange of information act, as well as a science fiction romance.
