I started as a senior network and security engineer in the Fintech arena. Running my own consultancy, I have worked with big names such as Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital as well as several Law firms.
My journey in Crypto and blockchain started in 2013 when I first discovered Bitcoin and bought some to hold. I then began trading the coin to bring in an income.
In 2014 I built my first bitcoin mine in Cambridge, UK. I imported 50 bitcoin miners from China and built the 50TH/s mine which was large at the time.
At the end of the mines life which was at the end of 2014, it had produced over 35 BTC. I used this capital to continue trading. Now with a trading history of 500+ BTC.
In 2015 I worked on a personal project to write a mining amplifying solution. Where mined coins would go through a process and multiply using the Poloniex trading platform.
This evolved into an algorithm that I used along with an external partner into a trading bot.
In 2017 I began the work towards my current project. This project satisfied two of my main passions. Crypto and Global warming.
In 2018 the launch for RWN began when I was approached to build a peer to peer energy trading platform. This used blockchain technology of course.
In 2019 Rowan coin will launch and we will secure the necessary funding for the peer to peer trading system. Watch this space!
