Cory Weisman (born Chicago, Illinois December 30, 1962). He graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication, and degrees in both Public Relations and Journalism. Mr. Weisman is an American entertainment industry executive, former Hollywood A-List Talent Agent, and emerging tech entrepreneur who packages and produces Holographic 3D content and display activation's, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Immersive Experience Productions for the Global Entertainment and Retail markets.
In the early 90's Mr. Weisman created the Animation / New Media Department at ICM,which grew quickly to become the most influential and represented department of its kind in Hollywood. He packaged Live Action and A-List talent for major studio productions. He represented clients like Jodie Foster, Tommy Lee Jones, Meg Ryan, Steve Martin, Michelle Pfeiffer, Rosie O'Donnell, Mel Gibson, Ann Bancroft, James Woods, Jim Belushi, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jeff Goldblum, Chazz Palminteri and Joe Pantoliano. The department also grew its influence and reach into digital areas such as interactive content creation distribution for new digital platforms.
Weisman left ICM to form Weisman Worldwide Entertainment, Inc., Hollywood's first new media agency. Weisman was quoted in Daily Variety Magazine stating, "The vision was to create a bridge between the talent, traditional production houses, and technology elements to create opportunities for all in the ever-expanding entertainment technology convergence space."
In 2014, Weisman began to focus on packaging talent for immersive media and holographic media in addition to film and television. Weisman participates in cutting-edge projects such holographic artist performances at live concert venues [including live, pre-recorded, and digital resurrection] virtual reality, augmented reality applications, as well as entertainment content production and management.
