I started joining the crypto community back when users of bitcointalk.org will have to demand escrows to teams conducting ICOs. Not surprising in the wild west nature of cryptocurrencies. There was a time when Bittrex were used to escrow ICO funds, I remember participating a lot of ICO too. Its accustomed during that time but gradually change over the years and escrows are just used when making transactions from users. Less trust from investors mean less funds as well for the team which could result to less chance of success for a token to be developed thoroughly for adoption.
I became part of the marketing personnel of an ICO team and also a bounty hunter even today and part of my duty is to create ANN thread for them and moderate the thread even after the ICO. I have committed and I'm bound with the responsibility to respond to inquiries because I know this will not just help the team but to the community in general.
