Pluses:
- Great and useful idea
- Working similar projects (Steemit, Golos)
- Excellent and correct choice of the blockchain – Graphene. Ethereum is definitely not suitable for the realization of this project
- World sports stars in a team, that will increase the recognizability of the product
- Great move with the exchange rates without commissions, this will attract a large audience

Minuses:
- Beta version doesn’t use graphene, it does not implement the basic functionality of the platform
- For the whole system to work, you need a really large number of partners and advertisers
- According to Linkedin, CTO has little experience in developing blockchain solutions, but good experience as a whole

Full disclosure - I'm not a sports person

Although the vision is basically a combo of several existing ICOs - social media, event data and analytics, plus betting - the combination for sports could be an attractive honey pot that brings users to the platform.

I wish they had made the product into a Smart Media Token app (STEEMs equivalent of an ICO) and saved themselves a lot of work. So far although they have a Git repo with code they freely admit they are basically using a clone of the Steem blockchain and leveraging the tried and proven Steemit economic model (which does have issues).

It is really not clear how they will do person to person betting with no house take. When you go after a massive multi-billion dollar industry and don't want a take, even a fraction of a percent, it seems either very ballsy or a mistake. I'm wondering if there are legal reasons for this. Also since there is also an ICO all about person to person betting called Wagerr that will take a year to launch I think Scorum may be underestimating the difficult around doing this reliably.

As for the team - it doesn't seem to have many tech heavy hitters in leadership. This is mostly sports advisors, evangelists, and business folks. However there are a quite a few blockchain and front/backend devs listed so at least they have a body count commensurable with getting shit done.

TECHNICAL OBSERVATIONS
The platform will be built upon graphene protocol, it uses DPoS mechanism.

PROS
Graphene protocol has high throughput and underlying technology for Steem, Bitshares and Peerplays.
Content based social media marketing(Photo sharing, articles) can be easily pegged to graphene protocol.
Graphene protocol is best for financial applications.

CONS

No mention about technical architecture and github repository.

No mention about betting algorithms.
Though graphene protocol supports the high throughput, it doesn't have the computation verification mechanism.

Is the live broadcasting,E-commerce for sports merchandise are directly served through DLT?

There are many gambling ICOs, and most of them will catch on quickly because early adopters/investors typically like to gamble. I like the twist with this ICO in that it rewards contributors for content. There are many good choices in this sector, but I chose to invest in this one.
