About ICO Pass
In a matter of minutes ICO Pass verifies authenticity of person's ID documents, does a face-matching, checks Sanction lists and the country of origin & residency.
All data is encrypted and without the consent from person, it is not possible to have access to it.
As KYC process is automated and accurate, it is possible to significantly reduce costs. Moreover, once a person is identified - they can re-use the identity for several ICOs.

product already exisits... so why a $5mil raise.
Respectfully, given the current state of "personal data breaches" it is highly unlikely that this company/product will have any chance of Integration with US State Revenue service or banks.
I do not see this as a good investment
Nevertheless, that we have published a working product before the launch is a good thing not a bad. Taking into consideration that many of ICOs do not even have a prototype. €5m is max. Min is €500k. We want to do it for two reasons:
1st - so we have tested out the product during our own Token Sale before giving it to our clients (you can already see in our product companies that will use our product);
2nd - we have a roadmap of features that we would like to add to the product and additional funds will allow us to move faster.
If the concerns have been about competition, then please indicate what exactly are the concerns - we have not seen any other product that allows to do remote KYC so fast and precisely. Moreover use smart-contracts for automatically returning funds from un-verified wallet addresses and once verified - allow to re-use KYC for several Token Sales.
About your second point, can you describe more about how the issues with personal data breaches will put any obstacles for our product development? We have developed identity solutions for Swiss Banks and non of our solutions has had a data breach. Moreover, we are helping companies with not having a data breach: http://swissfinancestartups.com/2016/12/notakey-swisscom-ubs-cs/ . If your concern is specifically about integration, then again - there are APIs that we can use to do integration. E.g., in Europe there is PSD2 that forces all banks to open their APIs to third party developers.

Nice idea and unconventional, it could be implemented with a good development in the new future.

KYC process needs to be streamlined.
Thank you for evaluating.
What kind of capacity in the team is lacking currently? Also, could you provide more information on what is missing in the product section?

Generally good vision and useful idea, but we see small team with not significant experience in Risk tolerance, investment&banking industry, where KYC is coming originally from or any related business. In the Prospectus they claim to have experience with ID solutions, but barely can found some in their profiles.
Limited use - only ethereum addresses, may be not so convenient for some potential user. There is big completion in this niche at the moment, check all before make any decision. Couldn't found detailed information for business development and attracting clients of such service.
You are mentioning that you can find barely any information about building ID solutions on our profiles. On our profiles we can write anything but that does not mean we have done it or not. That is why I would simply advise to Google the names of the participants together with ID solutions and you will be able to find in the press information that this is correct.
About product. You are mentioning limited use, however most of the funds during ICO are transferred using Ethereum. Could you describe in more details what you mean with that?
About Business Development - there really is no rocket science there. Companies announce their plans for upcoming Token Sales on different platforms. Is is very easy to reach the decision maker and sell the product directly. Using this method we already have lined up several ICOs. Moreover, the competition in the field is not so fierce actually (e.g. there is not a KYC solution made particularly for ICOs), so a lot of ICOs are reaching out to us themselves. This information what I just wrote was in the Prospectus.

I think it is a good solution for ICOs and it seems that they have already experimented with some banks and governments.
Despite being a good team, you need support from good international advisors to help you improve.

Experts are independently and voluntarily contributing to the community. If no expert has rated the ICO, only ICO analyzer's results are used. Always research before investing as these ratings should not be taken as an investing guide of any kind.
