About Aceso
The aim of ACESO is to decrease the expenses of protecting a computer from malware to a minimum, where users will no longer have to pay for software, but for a service instead. Additionally, our solution decentralizes the earning centre, and 90% of all earnings are put on a p2p model where a Researcher gets 30% and a Malware analyst – 60% of the computer protection fee.
Currently, getting rid of a computer infection can be quite difficult and infected users are not always given a solution to their malware problems. Depending on their knowledge in the field, the average user would turn towards security programs for malware removal, paying $40 dollars for just one malware removal, which seems illogical. Additional features, like protection against phishing or safe browsing, are also included in the price, that is still a lot of money for resolving one malware problem, or a future situation that might not even happen. So what is the alternative?
ACESO offers a totally different approach to keeping users safe. We aim to create a platform where all could participate in cybersecurity and gain something, whether they are knowledgeable in the field or just someone browsing the Internet. The created platform would allow regular users to fix their malware issues in a much cheaper way, while malware specialists would earn income by providing malware samples/helping others solve their malware problems. It is a win-win situation for everyone.

Appears to be a reasonably strong project with a commercial product that has proven traction.
I see a unique use case to blockchain and to be frank, we will need a solution to the "problems" of antivirus, and the nature of blockchain does seem to fit.

The team is quite decent, there arent enough only strong international experts in the Blockchain region. Verification is undergone. Idea though not new, but rather demanded. MVP already is. The project can turn out. Good luck to you, guys!

It is ideal for PC users to get high-quality security security at low cost.
The project says like this.
They each put a $ 1 offer in the ACESO market. Therefore, the pot is $ 100 and the solution for these users is the same.
And these are done in Token.
What will happen if the value of Token rises?
Who will benefit from that case?

Thank you for rating aceso ICO.
Please find the answers below.
What will happen if the value of Token rises?
The price of a fix will not be affected by the rise or decrease of ASO Token, it will always cost 1$ equivalent to the ASO token. Meaning if 1 ASO will cost 1$, you’ll get 1 fix. If 1 ASO will cost $10, you’ll get 10 fixes.
Who will benefit from that case?
So from the increase of ASO value, only the token holders will benefit, price per fix for the end-user will stay the same.
Could you also elaborate why you’ve ranked Vision at 2, please? This is a huge innovation within the cybersecurity space by empowering the community and decreasing antimalware costs by around 80%. None of the existing antimalware vendors or the ICOs can offer this.
Thanks.

Aceso has the same application as the existing solutions in the market. The platform should clearly define their USP to be able to make a dent in the market. The team appears to be strong but they need more experts on blockchain technology. The whitepaper needs professional content audit, it ends up confusing rather than clarifying.

Thank you for the rating. We're glad to announce that edited whitepaper will be introduced shortly.
Could you please highlight what 'the existing solutions in the market' you have in your mind, as we're not aware of any?
Thank you.

[Update] Corrected rating after discussing with the team.
Thanks for fixing bugs with website.
Thanks for clarifying this project is going to take vipersoft to the next level.
Whitepaper is solid and has sufficient information.
I would still recommend Team to now use "Best Cybersecurity ICO in 2018" as it mostly sounds scam project.

Thank you for correcting the rating. The thing with the "Best Cybersecurity ICO in 2018" is that Ian Balina added us to his Spreadsheet, and based on his ratings we actually are the best Cybersecurity ICO in the market now.

A fairly interesting project with a team that surely believes in it. Bold advisory board. MVP is present, so there is a way to kind of get the feel of it and test the viability of such an interesting twist of the tech use.
Would still recommend to polish up your content marketing.

Frankly I don't see any advantages of the concept against existing softwares and services online now. Your product is still a software or service. What is the significant improvement?
Your pitch and your product make me more confused. Most of malwares are now solved quickly using reputable softwares. Non-tech and regular users need fast service and affordable which many companies are now offering.
If you have to wait for analysts to find and resolve one malware, why don't you use existing services at affordable price and fast?

I know that our cybersecurity project is quite difficult to understand, so please find the answers to your concerns below:
What is the significant improvement?
Our users can pay for the computer fix, instead of software/update itself. This will decrease their antimalware protection costs by around 80% in a year (Current market average is around $30, our solution will cost around $6, unless you keen to explore suspicions files and websites – but will never exceed $10). The is no other such model within the market now.
Most of the malware is now solved quickly using the reputable software. Non-tech and regular users need fast service and affordable which many companies are now offering.
I’m sorry but that’s not the case – where did you find such an information? According to the Global Research from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, there are 400 new threats created every minute and 70% of them go undetected. This happens because Big anti-virus vendors focus on malware that has become quite widespread and has infected a hundred computers at the very least. We, however, will help people deal with even the smallest malware infecting less than 100 PCs.
If you have to wait for analysts to find and resolve one malware, why don't you use existing services at affordable price and fast?
The way how antimalware protection works (in simple words) is that you must prepare the solution for every new Malware. If it’s a unique and completely new one – none of the existing services will have it. You can fix the first infected PC only when you’ll find the solution, and then you can fix all other PC that has the same malware in seconds. We have been in this industry for more than 10 years and had plenty of examples when people have 2 or 3 Antimalware software from premium vendors but can’t fix the issue. Then we analyse that specific threat and prepare the solution. Our model will make this process much faster as we’ll empower the community.
So in general, our suggested cybersecurity solution is faster, cheaper and allows regular users to earn money.
With all this information, do still think our vision and product is worth 3/5?

I personally think the concept of p2p malware solution is ground breaking. Especially in an age when there is so much malware going undetected. Snowden's revelation of the CIA's nasty toolset made that abundantly clear. And you cannot rely on traditional malware software to keep your systems clean.
The whitepaper leaves me wanting for more though. It doesnt delve deep into the technical side of things and I couldnt find any other information on your website.
The 10% fee for Aceso seems unreasonably high to me. I would say 1 to 3% is more realistic and more fair to the researcher and expert.
Team seems a bit too localized, could use some international allure.
All in all an interesting project with some rough edges that need to be sorted out.

Yes, the industry and sector has great potential and team is well experienced, capable of execution. Whitepaper is thorough and covers almost all verticals of business. The market is already flooded with many options though p2p model is unique to this project. Fixed fee of 10 % is definitely a pinch to client. Your pitch is more commercial than technical. ICO with this much hard cap doesn't look satisfactory to me. Taking the ICO route is for developing this product needs great explanation. P2P models fails to provide and keep quality of service & product, comparatively, to other models. I cannot find decent explanation on how same shall be maintained. Various mechanisms can be used for purpose. Overall, the project's vision is alright, product needs to be working and team seems to pull it off as presented in roadmap, which is again a long one. All the best!

Thank you for rating our ICO. Looking at your comments we see you have not really read our whitepaper. Here are the answers to your questions:
- 'Fixed fee of 10 % is definitely a pinch to client'. There is no 'Fixed fee of 10 %' in our project at all.
- 'ICO with this much hard cap doesn't look satisfactory to me'. Please take a look at our Pitch Deck, page 16. The business plan is available on demand.
- 'Taking the ICO route is for developing this product needs great explanation.' What does this mean?
- 'P2P models fails to provide and keep quality of service & product'. Please take a look at our Whitepaper, page 19.
Hope you'll take more time to analyze other projects before rating them.

I don't think the use of blockchain technology is justified in what Aceso is trying to accomplish. But still, if they can execute well, they have a huge market to cater to.
Team and advisory board is solid and with good experience. MVP looks good too.

The Aceso team is a sound collection of professionals with extensive experience in their respective fields. It is led by a seasoned CEO, Mindaugas Sinkevičius and co-founder Romualdas Cukuras who is both the CEO and more importantly a core developer of WiperSoft, an existing antispyware with over 1 million users. The team features a spectrum of experts from different fields like software development, marketing, cloud, and community management. While several of the members have blockchain experience, there is only one dedicated blockchain specialist. I would like to see more expertise on this front but it is likely not necessary due to the wide range of experience of the IT team. Aceso is advised by a group of ICO specialist and cybersecurity expert which compliment the team well. 5 of 5 for the team.
Utilizing blockchain to increase cybersecurity is not a new concept. Blockchains themselves are inherently resistant to data breaches and consensus mechanisms prevent DDoS attack and the sort. Aceso vision and concept however is very unique. I was unable to find another project that is developing a peer-to-peer platform that connects malware experts and analysts to individuals suffering from security threats and breaches. It drastically reduces the cost to the end user and makes it possible to fight a much broader variety of malware. This industry is rapidly growing and with the emergence of decentralized networks, I believe it will continue to do so at an exponential rate, even faster than the team is expecting. The only issue I have with the vision is the 10% fee that Aceso charges on a fix. I believe that this goes against the decentralized nature of the project and think that the team should use their allocated tokens for their expenses, research, and development. A 65%/35% for the expert ad analyst would be more appealing to the market. 4 out of 5 for this reason.
The WiperSoft software is already working and has over a million users. Aceso will add a peer-to-peer network to this existing platform. The MVP is not capable of any features that the new decentralized network will add to it. 4 out of 5 for the product.
Overall I think Aceso is a sound project with an experienced team and a proven track record.

That's a reasoned and valid comment, that can actually help us to improve.
This is exactly how expert rating should look like.
