La confidentialit\u00e9 dans l\u2019industrie de la cryptomonnaie \u00e9tait l\u2019un de ses arguments les plus attractifs. Ceci dit, par le pass\u00e9, cette confidentialit\u00e9 reposait sur l\u2019anonymat. Avec l\u2019av\u00e8nement des mesures KYC, l\u2019anonymat en Web3 est en voie de disparition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

De plus, l\u2019influence grandissante des acteurs \u00e9tatiques soul\u00e8ve de nombreuses inqui\u00e9tudes pour les utilisateurs. C\u2019est dans ce contexte que la fondation Ethereum s\u2019engage \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger la confidentialit\u00e9<\/strong>. Dans une feuille de route publi\u00e9e vendredi dernier, l\u2019\u00e9quipe charg\u00e9e de cette mission \u00e9rige la confidentialit\u00e9 en principe fondateur sur Ethereum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Vers la confidentialit\u00e9 de bout en bout sur Ethereum<\/span><\/h2>\n

Dans sa feuille de route<\/a>, l\u2019\u00e9quipe des Gardiens de la confidentialit\u00e9 d\u2019Ethereum<\/strong> a fait part de ses ambitions pour la blockchain. Dans un contexte o\u00f9 Ethereum devient progressivement la blockchain du syst\u00e8me financier de demain, il est imp\u00e9ratif que la confidentialit\u00e9 soit pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Comme l\u2019explique Sam Richards<\/strong>, le porte-parole de l\u2019\u00e9quipe :<\/p>\n

Ethereum est en passe de devenir la couche de r\u00e8glement pour le monde entier, mais sans une confidentialit\u00e9 renforc\u00e9e, il risque de devenir le pilier de la surveillance mondiale plut\u00f4t que celui de la libert\u00e9 mondiale.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pour ce faire, l\u2019\u00e9quipe cherche \u00e0 rendre l\u2019\u00e9criture, la lecture et la preuve des registres distribu\u00e9s enti\u00e8rement confidentielles<\/strong>. De plus, ces transactions confidentielles devront \u00eatre aussi abordables et rapides que les transactions publiques.<\/p>\n

\"Ethereum<\/p>\n

Trois chantiers titanesques<\/span><\/h2>\n

De toute \u00e9vidence, s\u2019attaquer \u00e0 une telle mission n\u2019est pas une t\u00e2che anodine. L\u2019\u00e9quipe charg\u00e9e de la confidentialit\u00e9 sur Ethereum<\/a> s\u2019attend \u00e0 ce que l\u2019impl\u00e9mentation prenne de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. Notons cependant que trois principaux chantiers<\/strong> ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 court et moyen terme, il sera question d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9veloppement et l\u2019int\u00e9gration de Plasma Fold<\/strong>. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une surcouche Ethereum exp\u00e9rimentale. Il est pr\u00e9vu d\u2019y ajouter des fonctionnalit\u00e9s qui garantissent la confidentialit\u00e9 des acteurs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ensuite, l\u2019\u00e9quipe met l\u2019accent sur l\u2019impl\u00e9mentation du vote confidentiel sur la blockchain Ethereum<\/strong>. Ceci impliquera de d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux protocoles pour garantir ladite confidentialit\u00e9 lors des t\u00e2ches de gouvernance qui sont conduites sur la blockchain.<\/p>\n

Enfin, \u00e9laborer de nouveaux protocoles DeFi qui garantissent la confidentialit\u00e9<\/a>, tout en \u00e9tant conformes aux attentes et aux besoins des acteurs institutionnels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

En plus de ces initiatives, l\u2019\u00e9quipe a \u00e9galement annonc\u00e9 des travaux en mati\u00e8re de calcul priv\u00e9 sur la blockchain. Mais aussi d\u00e9velopper des wallets ZKP (Zero Knowledge Proof)<\/strong> confidentiels, garantir la portabilit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es<\/strong> et mettre en place l\u2019identit\u00e9 priv\u00e9e<\/strong>. Dans ce registre, Vitalik a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 Kohaku, un protocole de transactions priv\u00e9es sur Ethereum<\/a>.<\/p>\n

La confidentialit\u00e9, une mission \u00e9pineuse<\/span><\/h2>\n

Cette annonce arrive \u00e0 un moment dans lequel les entit\u00e9s \u00e9tatiques s\u2019int\u00e9ressent de tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s \u00e0 la cryptomonnaie. De toute \u00e9vidence, le besoin de confidentialit\u00e9 des uns se heurtera au besoin de surveillance des autres<\/strong>. En particulier, quand on sait que les cryptomonnaies sont largement devenues le conduit de fraude de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n
