Avec ce stablecoin, l\u2019\u00c9tat am\u00e9ricain ferait son premier pas dans une industrie de 280 milliards $ domin\u00e9e par Tether et Circle. Un projet qui pourrait \u00eatre rentable et permettrait de <strong>lever des fonds pour les d\u00e9penses gouvernementales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, la question des fonctionnalit\u00e9s de ce stablecoin et l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se d\u2019un rendement pose d\u00e9j\u00e0 probl\u00e8me. Alors que le GENIUS Act est cens\u00e9 r\u00e9glementer les stablecoins adoss\u00e9s au dollar, <strong>la version du Wyoming pourrait s\u2019\u00e9carter de ce cadre sp\u00e9cifique<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"un_stablecoin_gouvernementale_mais_pas_une_monnaie_numerique_de_banque_centrale\">Un stablecoin gouvernementale, mais pas une monnaie num\u00e9rique de banque centrale<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Pour de nombreux am\u00e9ricains, l\u2019\u00e9ventualit\u00e9 d\u2019une monnaie num\u00e9rique \u00e9mise par les banques centrales inqui\u00e8te. Ils estiment que de telles monnaies pourraient <strong>conduire \u00e0 une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 sans argent papier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, <strong>ils craignent que ces monnaies num\u00e9riques puissent, plus tard, \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es contre les citoyens<\/strong>. D\u2019apr\u00e8s la commission s\u00e9natoriale charg\u00e9e du projet, le Wyoming Stable Token sera garanti par des actifs de tr\u00e9sorerie. <strong>C\u2019est tout le contraire d\u2019une monnaie de banque centrale qui peut \u00eatre \u00e9mise sans support<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"wyoming_la_forte_tete_des_etats_americains\">Wyoming, la forte t\u00eate des \u00c9tats am\u00e9ricains ?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Un des imp\u00e9ratifs du GENIUS Act est que les stablecoins devaient \u00eatre munis de fonctionnalit\u00e9s de censure. Autrement dit, <strong>le gouvernement devrait pouvoir ordonner le gel, le blocage ou l\u2019interdiction de certaines transactions onchain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pour l\u2019\u00c9tat du Wyoming, une telle dynamique semble poser probl\u00e8me. En effet, <strong>Anthony Apollo, directeur ex\u00e9cutif de la commission du Wyoming Stable Token<\/strong> souligne que l\u2019\u00c9tat du Wyoming est souverain.<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 une corporation priv\u00e9e, <strong>l\u2019\u00c9tat n\u2019est pas syst\u00e9matiquement tenu d\u2019acc\u00e9der aux demandes du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral<\/strong>. Certes, le stablecoin du Wyoming sera muni desdites fonctionnalit\u00e9s de censure.
