Alors que la crypto \u00e9volue autour des 3 600 $ en ce mois de juillet 2025, Arthur Hayes, ex-PDG de BitMEX, relance les d\u00e9bats avec une pr\u00e9vision pour le moins audacieuse : Ethereum pourrait grimper jusqu\u2019\u00e0 10 000 $ d\u2019ici fin d\u00e9cembre<\/strong>. Une d\u00e9claration qui fait grincer quelques dents. Alors, faut-il y voir les pr\u00e9mices d\u2019un nouvel envol, ou les signes avant-coureurs d\u2019une bulle pr\u00eate \u00e0 \u00e9clater ?<\/p>\n

Pourquoi 10 000 $ maintenant pour la crypto ETH?<\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, l\u2019estimation para\u00eet d\u00e9mesur\u00e9e. La crypto ETH<\/a> reste encore loin de son pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent sommet<\/strong> \u00e0 4 878 $, atteint fin 2021, et pourtant, Hayes a doubl\u00e9 son objectif initial de 5 000 \u00e0 10 000 $ en l\u2019espace de quelques semaines. Qu\u2019est-ce qui motive une telle r\u00e9vision ? Plusieurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments, selon lui, convergent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Premier signal : le retour marqu\u00e9 de l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat institutionnel. Une dynamique impressionnante, qui pourrait repositionner la crypto ETH comme un actif \u00ab s\u00e9rieux \u00bb, davantage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans les portefeuilles traditionnels.<\/p>\n

Deuxi\u00e8me facteur, le contexte macro\u00e9conomique am\u00e9ricain<\/strong>. Hayes estime que Washington<\/a> va devoir creuser encore son d\u00e9ficit, notamment pour soutenir la r\u00e9industrialisation dans un climat g\u00e9opolitique tendu. R\u00e9sultat : une injection massive de liquidit\u00e9s<\/strong>, qui profiterait m\u00e9caniquement aux actifs d\u00e9centralis\u00e9s, per\u00e7us comme un refuge face \u00e0 la dilution mon\u00e9taire.<\/p>\n

Ceux-l\u00e0 m\u00eame qui cherchent aujourd\u2019hui une plateforme plus \u00e9tablie, plus conforme aux attentes des r\u00e9gulateurs bref, moins risqu\u00e9e sur le papier.<\/p>\n

Franchement, difficile \u00e0 dire si ce revirement tiendra dans la dur\u00e9e. Mais pour l\u2019instant, le vent semble tourner.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ombre d\u2019un crash : l\u2019enthousiasme peut-il devenir dangereux ?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Toute envol\u00e9e soudaine a son revers. Et certains analystes crypto commencent \u00e0 lever le doigt : l\u2019emballement actuel pourrait bien masquer une bulle en formation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Car Ethereum, rappelons-le, reste une crypto instable. En un mois, ETH a bondi de plus de 52 %. Une progression fulgurante, difficile \u00e0 justifier uniquement par des \u00e9volutions techniques ou des revenus r\u00e9seau. On pense forc\u00e9ment \u00e0 2021, o\u00f9 un emballement similaire avait pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 une s\u00e9v\u00e8re correction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Chute<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, les ETF crypto ne constituent pas un bouclier en soi. Leur succ\u00e8s d\u00e9pend d\u2019un environnement macro favorable<\/strong>. Si la Fed resserre sa politique mon\u00e9taire, ou si une crise g\u00e9opolitique \u00e9clate, ces flux peuvent se tarir aussi vite qu\u2019ils sont apparus.<\/p>\n

Le r\u00e9seau Ethereum lui-m\u00eame n\u2019est pas exempt de critiques. Lors des pics d\u2019activit\u00e9, les frais de transaction flambent \u00e0 nouveau, ce qui dissuade les utilisateurs. Les solutions de seconde couche (Arbitrum, Optimism\u2026) tardent \u00e0 s\u2019imposer, et la concurrence ne faiblit pas<\/strong>. Solana, notamment, s\u00e9duit toujours par sa rapidit\u00e9 et ses faibles co\u00fbts.<\/p>\n

Un pari crypto sur la politique mon\u00e9taire am\u00e9ricaine<\/span><\/h2>\n

Hayes inscrit son raisonnement<\/a> dans une logique plus large, qu\u2019on pourrait qualifier de macro-crypto. Selon lui, les cycles haussiers des cryptos suivent de pr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9volution du cr\u00e9dit global, en particulier aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n

Il cite en exemple la p\u00e9riode post-Covid : entre 2020 et 2021, le cr\u00e9dit a doubl\u00e9, et bitcoin a \u00e9t\u00e9 multipli\u00e9 par 15.<\/strong> Hayes pense que les conditions actuelles rappellent ce sc\u00e9nario.<\/p>\n

Mais ce raisonnement repose sur une hypoth\u00e8se fragile : que la politique accommodante se poursuive sans accroc. Or, toute inflexion hausse des taux, baisse des d\u00e9penses publiques, nouveau tour de vis r\u00e9glementaire pourrait couper net l\u2019\u00e9lan. On en est encore loin, mais certains commencent d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 se couvrir.<\/p>\n

La crypto Ethereum \u00e0 10 000 $ n\u2019a rien d\u2019impossible. Mais ce sc\u00e9nario repose sur une s\u00e9rie de conditions favorables<\/strong>, dont aucune n\u2019est acquise : afflux continu de capitaux institutionnels, politique mon\u00e9taire souple, stabilit\u00e9 g\u00e9opolitique et adoption technique en progression<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
