Le 13 octobre, le Bhoutan a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9gration officielle de son syst\u00e8me national d\u2019identit\u00e9 sur Ethereum<\/strong>. Pour le petit pays d\u2019Asie, le choix de la blockchain Ethereum est une question d\u2019efficience et de fiabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Pour l\u2019occasion, Vitalik Buterin<\/strong>, cofondateur d\u2019Ethereum et Aya Miyaguchi<\/strong> d\u2019Ethereum Foundation \u00e9taient invit\u00e9s. Avec cette migration, le Bhoutan devient le premier pays au monde \u00e0 r\u00e9ussir une telle int\u00e9gration d\u2019un syst\u00e8me souverain d\u2019identit\u00e9 sur la blockchain Ethereum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pour le Bhoutan, la troisi\u00e8me fois est la bonne<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ce n\u2019est pas la premi\u00e8re fois que le Bhoutan<\/a> int\u00e8gre son syst\u00e8me d\u2019identit\u00e9 nationale sur une blockchain. En effet, le pays avait commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 exp\u00e9rimenter en 2023 avec Hyperledger Indy<\/strong>. Plus tard, il a opt\u00e9 pour la blockchain Polygon<\/strong> par souci de stabilit\u00e9, de croissance d\u2019\u00e9chelle et de performance.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s la migration sur la blockchain Polygon en ao\u00fbt 2024<\/strong>, le Bhoutan opte d\u00e9sormais pour Ethereum pour accueillir son syst\u00e8me d\u2019identit\u00e9 nationale. Ceci laisse supposer que les besoins en mati\u00e8re d\u2019immutabilit\u00e9<\/strong>, de performance<\/strong> et de fiabilit\u00e9<\/strong> sont mieux satisfaits sur la blockchain Ethereum.<\/p>\n

Le programme \u201cNational Digital Identity<\/strong>\u201d du Bhoutan a \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9 en 2023 sous l\u2019impulsion de la fondation Trust over IP (ToIP)<\/strong>. Aujourd\u2019hui, moins de trois ans apr\u00e8s son lancement, le syst\u00e8me national souverain d\u2019identit\u00e9 du Bhoutan d\u00e9barque sur Ethereum.<\/p>\n

Un pont entre infrastructure Web2 et l\u2019immutabilit\u00e9 du Web3<\/span><\/h2>\n

Depuis hier, le syst\u00e8me national d\u2019identit\u00e9 du Bhoutan op\u00e8re sur la blockchain Ethereum. Les autorit\u00e9s ont toutefois pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que la migration des donn\u00e9es personnelles des<\/strong> 800 000 citoyens devrait prendre fin en d\u00e9but 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pour Ethereum, c\u2019est un jalon important. Comme l\u2019indique, Aya Miyaguchi, pr\u00e9sidente d\u2019Ethereum Foundation, c\u2019est un \u00e9v\u00e9nement qui rappelle le chemin parcouru en 10 ans d\u2019existence d\u2019Ethereum<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Par-dessus tout, c\u2019est la preuve qu\u2019Ethereum peut \u00eatre la blockchain de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour faire le pont entre Web2 et Web3<\/strong>. En effet, ce syst\u00e8me national d\u2019identit\u00e9 d\u00e9montre parfaitement que l\u2019infrastructure Web2 peut \u00eatre adapt\u00e9e pour le Web3. Mais surtout, que les registres distribu\u00e9s de la blockchain apportent les garanties de fiabilit\u00e9 et d\u2019immutabilit\u00e9 qui sont recherch\u00e9es<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

L\u2019exemple du Bhoutan pourrait devenir un mod\u00e8le \u00e0 suivre pour les autres pays qui envisagent de d\u00e9ployer des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019identit\u00e9 souverains similaires. Notamment le Br\u00e9sil<\/strong> et le Vietnam<\/strong> qui ont \u00e9galement de tels projets \u00e0 divers niveaux de r\u00e9alisation.<\/p>\n

Le Bhoutan, v\u00e9ritable hub crypto de l\u2019\u00e8re moderne ?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ce n\u2019est pas la premi\u00e8re fois que le Bhoutan d\u00e9fraie la chronique dans l\u2019industrie crypto. Apr\u00e8s tout, le pays s\u2019\u00e9rige d\u00e9sormais en acteur majeur et mod\u00e8le \u00e0 suivre en mati\u00e8re d\u2019adoption des cryptomonnaies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
